Freemasonry Overview Freemasonry has been around for 300 years and has been described and perceived in many different ways but mainly it has been described as a system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. On the surface, it can be described as a fraternity of men that live to be enlightened and empowered by the search for knowledge, brotherly love and compassion for all our communities.
